PUBLIC NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that The Windsor Township Zoning Hearing Board will conduct a public hearing on Thursday, July 30, 2026 starting at 7:00 p.m. to be heard by the Zoning Hearing Board in the Township Municipal Building at 110 Haas Road, Hamburg, PA. The Zoning Hearing Board will consider the following Application:
A hearing on the Application of BH Real Estate Holdings LLC (with a mailing address of 188 Virginville Road, Hamburg, PA 19526-8604) (the “Applicant”) of the property located 16590 Pottsville Pike, Hamburg, Berks County, PA (Parcel IDs. 94449414332351 and 94449414332308), which is seeking relief via variance(s), special exception(s) and/or interpretation(s) from the following zone within the Windsor Township Zoning Ordinance (the “Township Zoning Ordinance”):
General Commercial Zoning District (C-2) Section 406, et seq contains the permitted principal use, permitted accessory use, use permitted only by special exception, conditional use, and regulations for this District.
The Applicant seeks the following zoning variance from the provisions of the Township Zoning Ordinance to permit the utilization of the property for purposes of a day care center. Additionally, the Applicant seeks a variance from Section 509.7 regarding minimum lot size.
The Parcel identified by the Applicant is 16590 Pottsville Pike, Windsor Township, Berks County, PA, 19526, with listed Owners of Terry L. Shaner, Sr., Susan A. Shaner, Terry L. Shaner, Jr. and Stephanie M. Shaner, and an identified mailing address of 251 Maple Drive, Hamburg, PA 19526-2009; the property is identified as Parcel Nos. 94449414332351 and 94449414332308 (Transferred by Deed Book 2342, Page 1436).
The above-referenced property is located in The Township of Windsor, Berks County, PA. Copies of the Application, plans and supporting documents filed with the Application, are available for public inspection at the Township Municipal Building during regular business hours
